But all the years spent online haven’t made her as famous as her reveal of giving up Huxley for adoption. Now, you must be thinking who Huxley is?
The two-year-old adopted by Myka and her husband, James, from China in October, 2017. Huxley was a toddler when this couple decided to give him another chance at life in the US.

The choice of giving up their adopted son seems like a tough one for this couple, given the diagnosis they received from the doctors. The revelation of Huxley’s autism was a shock for both parents, who had no idea that the kid was a special needs child.
The couple has stated that they weren’t told about his condition before adoption, and trying to keep up with Huxley’s condition was becoming difficult for them.
Even more challenging than that, was the decision to give him up for adoption after spending two memorable years raising him with their other four kids. Huxley, who is about to step into the fifth year of his life, is now going to a new family, more suitable for his special and medical needs.
The Stauffers say that their love for the young boy will always remain the same, and it breaks their heart to give him up. At the time of adoption back in 2017, Myka and James were over the moon when they first held him in their arms, saying that little Huxley was a sweet and brave little baby bear.
This decision was met with mixed reactions from their fans. Some people thought this story was worth sympathizing with, while others criticized Myka and her husband’s decision to give up an adopted son.

A Twitter user commented that this YouTuber should be ashamed of her decision because if one of her biological kids’ had been diagnosed with autism, she wouldn’t give that child up. Another user criticized her for giving up an adopted child because of her social media career.
On the other hand, people who have been through a similar process empathize with the couple, saying that they understand how difficult it is for all parties involved when a special case of adoption like this one is in place. They also commented that everyone should pray that the child receives all the love and care he needs.
