Often, fathers can’t do things that are as simple as changing a baby’s diaper. Duties like these are then passed onto mothers and stick to them like chewing gum until their child grows up.

Jessica Seinfeld feels for these moms, and she wants dads to give-in equally and take hold of their roles. Though the author, herself, grew up under the care of a responsible father, her mother didn’t have a loving household because her own parents had parted ways. This is why, since childhood, she has a viewpoint of what bits can a father play in both a child’s and a mother’s life.

After giving birth to her first child, Jessica’s beliefs became even stronger. She took them ahead and successfully launched an organization to help parents out.
People behind the set-up maintain that men, too, need to receive parenting plus maintaining healthy relationship classes. Along with that, they offer GED attainment, job training, and incentives too.
For her non-profit, volunteers are taken from different companies to help couples out in the training sessions. This way, not only the couples learn, but the volunteers also take new things home. Fixing two people mends the third one as well.
The founder says that, usually, fathers don’t feel excited while taking one of these classes. Still, if they teach them to take control over a stroller, that’s all that matters. Many relationships that were full of arguments have been repaired through this.

Jessica’s own family has been a part of the project as well. Her husband, Jerry Seinfeld, has taken a lot from it. The ‘New York Times’ best-selling author reports that Jerry wasn’t naturally trained when it came to the kids—he wasn’t changing diapers or carrying babies. Now, he is patient with them and has become better at caretaking. Jerry jokes about it, saying that it took him ten years to warm up.
In an interview, shehas revealed that her own mother was a social worker. Now that she has become one too, her children keep hearing about it and how she helps those who are in need. They have learned the art of volunteering, along with giving back, donating regularly, and working in the community.
Jessica Seinfeld has undoubtedly taken a unique road to support low-income spouses. Over these years, she has donated over $50 million to charities through her enterprise. A considerable amount that many people don’t dare to giveaway.
