Whether it’s Kirsten Dunst kissing Tobey Maguire in “Spider-Man” or Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams locking lips in “The Notebook,” one of the biggest questions viewers have on their minds when watching their favorite actors getting intimate is, “Does their explosive on-camera chemistry spill over into real-life too?.”
Whether it’s showing a little more skin that they’re comfortable with or sharing an intimate moment with their co-star, doing uncomfortable scenes because of the script’s demands is all part of an actor’s job description. Despite their good looks and millions of swooning fans following their every move, sometimes kissing your beautiful co-star is not the magical experience most of us think it ought to be. While it might have looked spontaneous and romantic on the small screen, these TV actors really hated kissing their co-stars in real life.

Alyson Hannigan in “How I Met Your Mother”
Marshall and Lily are still hailed by many as their favorite small-screen couples and their chemistry in “HIMYM” was undeniable. According to the plot, the two characters had known each other since their college days which meant that their marriage in season 2 was quite a joyous affair indeed.
Despite being one of the most relatable on-screen couples, Alyson Hannigan reportedly strongly disliked kissing her co-star Jason Segal because he was a smoker. The actress could not stand cigarette smoke and even referred to being intimate with Segal as “kissing an ashtray.”

Mila Kunis and Aston Kutcher in “That ‘70s Show”
It’s funny how life turns out because Mila Kunis and Aston Kutcher ended up dating and getting married more than a decade after they shared the screen in “That ‘70s Show.” During the show’s filming Kunis was only 14 years old and during the audition process, she even had to lie about being older to make the cut.
Kutcher, in contrast, was 19 years old at the time and treated Kunis like a little sister, even helping her with her homework after filming hours. So, when the script required the two to share a passionate kiss, needless to say, it was quite awkward and uncomfortable for both of them.

Selma Blair in “Anger Management”
For Charlie Sheen, “Anger Management” might have been a TV series to reinvigorate and redeem himself as an actor but for Selma Blair, filming the TV series turned out to be quite a traumatic experience.
When the actress approached the show’s director to complain about Sheen’s work ethic, their real-life relationship quickly turned sour and reportedly, Sheen even tried his best to get her fired from the show.
